HR Consulting in Clearwater, Florida
On-site HR support for Clearwater healthcare practices, tourism and marine businesses, and family companies of 5 to 100 employees — about twenty-five minutes up the road from my St. Pete office.
Twenty-five minutes north, and I'm there a lot.

Clearwater is the second-largest city in Pinellas, and its business mix is different from St. Pete's: more medical and dental practices, more tourism and marine operators along the beach and the harbor, and a lot of second- and third-generation family companies that have grown past the point where the owner can do HR from memory.
The problems those businesses bring me are consistent. Practices with a front-office manager doing HR on the side. Seasonal hospitality staff and the wage-and-hour mistakes that come with them. A family business that has never written down a policy because "everyone knows how we do things" — until someone doesn't.
From St. Petersburg it's about 25 minutes up US-19 or the Bayside Bridge, which means on-site work in Clearwater is routine for me, not a special trip. Investigations, terminations, and first meetings happen at your office; the rest we handle by phone and email, usually the same business day.
Mostly in your office. Remote when it's faster.
On-site
Most Clearwater clients see me in person for first meetings, investigations, difficult conversations and training. Same-week scheduling is normal; urgent issues within a day or two.
Remote
Handbooks, compliance reviews, policy questions and day-to-day advice run over phone, email and video — you don't wait for a visit to get an answer.
Practices, hospitality, marine, and family companies.
Companies of 5 to 100 employees. Not on the list? The seven services work the same in any industry.
Everything HR, delivered in Clearwater.
Same seven services as everywhere else. In Clearwater the most common starting points are compliance reviews for medical practices and handbooks for hospitality teams.

Serving Clearwater from my base in St. Petersburg, FL.
Yes — regularly. Clearwater is about 25 minutes from my St. Petersburg base, so on-site meetings, investigations and training are routine and there's no travel charge.
Medical and dental practices, tourism and marine operators, and family-owned companies from about 5 to 100 employees — large enough to need HR, too small for a department.
Urgent employee issues: on-site within a day or two. Projects like a handbook or compliance review: typically within two weeks of our first call.
Yes. Pinellas County has its own wage theft ordinance and a human rights ordinance that adds protected classes beyond state law. Both need to be reflected in your policies and complaint process.
